Why are you called NURA?‘Nura’ means light, brightness or radiance in several languages. It is also the anadrome of ‘arun’, a Sanskrit word for dawn or sunrise. This is significant for us in two ways: 1) because the patient community is full of brightness, hope and compassion; and 2) because we aim to shine a light on conditions which have long been neglected and dismissed. We really like the name NURA, even if our friend told us it sounds like a protein bar.

How can I give you feedback, or support what you are doing? We value feedback and are committed to building NURA together with other patients. You can give us feedback inside the community itself, in the "Give us feedback" space. Alternatively, please email us at nuracommunity@gmail.com or contact us here. Your support is vital to keeping our community thriving. If you’d like to contribute, we deeply appreciate donations of any size. You can donate as little as £1 or £2 per month. Every contribution makes a difference. You can donate here.
